 Cool FM is a sister station of Downtown Radio and is a wholly owned subsidiary of scottish radio holdings plc.
On air date 7 february 1990.
Transmission area the eastern half of Northern Ireland which contains a population of 919,000 adults, over 70% of the total adult population of the province.
Primary target audience 15-34 year olds.
Programming high quality contemporary rock/pop music service. Carried within the music flow is lifestyle information tailored specifically to the transmission area covering concerts, cinema, video and leisure interests. Regularly featured are promotions offering a wide range of attractive prizes.
