Kevin Kahan Hair Salon

'Kevin Kahan Salon' is a vibrant, busy and modern salon situated in a prime location at the top of Bangor's High Street. The building has been a hair salon since 1976.



It is a modern, attractive, professional salon with a friendly and efficient atmosphere, promoting excellent service, products and facilities. The salon comprises of central styling station, a colour room, training area and state of the art equipment.



A large investment was made in 1997 for renewal of equipment to take advantage of modern technology to offer the most efficient and professional service possible. The salon has the capacity to accommodate 18 clients and has the additional comfort of 7 back basins with a make up installation and a reception area.



The salon was updated in order to meet with current market trends, which indicate that modern clients require a comprehensive service under one roof.



A reception area has been developed, designed for client comfort and a welcoming atmosphere. A retail area has been created to enable the client to browse and select hair/skin care and make up at their convenience.



The business also boasts it's own school of hairdressing that has produced a number of highly talented individuals. In recent years many stylists who trained at Kevin Kahan Salon have gone on to excel in their profession and some now own successful salons. Several are employed as senior stylists by Kevin Kahan or have been armed with the experience and training necessary to move on to top hair salons in London and other major U.K. cities. Some are working at glamorous locations all over the world, including America and Australia.



There are also some Kevin Kahan prodigies who have remained with the salon throughout their career, or returned to work there after gaining additional experience in England or Europe. As senior stylists, trainers and colour consultants, they help to maintain Kevin Kahan Salon's reputations one of the leading hairdressing outlets in Northern Ireland.
