Those who enjoy the wet side of life can have fun in the Tropicana, Newcastles Outdoor Heated Leisure Pool with its giant waterslide and to ensure that the toddlers are not forgotten, they have their own paddling pools with Neillie the elephant slide and a friendly crocodile. Weekdays during July and August, a creche for 3 to 5 year olds and summer scheme for 6 to 13 year olds are organised to help keep the children entertained.
